i hope everyone is enjoying their 3 day weekend, if they got a 3 day weekend. its pretty nice out. i should go on on a bike ride and soak up some sun, but instead i'm updating my blog and working on some comics.

also. i showed my big secret cartoon (finished scenes that arent colored) to some buddies, who aren't cartoon fans. It was a good insight into what they laughed at etc. As much as i love feedback from my awesome cartoon buddies it's also good to consider the feedback from those types who can't really tell the difference between family guy, looney tunes or pixar. At the end of the day I have to remind myself that i have to appeal to not only my fellow cartoonists but the broad general audience out there that is probably starved for awesome cartoon content. Blabbering aside, it got me more hyped up to finish my cartoon! So i'll be trying to work harder on it to get it done soooooooon...assuming work and life stuff doesnt burn me out too much.

hahaha coloring takes a long time, although its fairly easy to do..just very tedious and time consuming. i still have 3 big scenes to animate possibly 4 if i get a special guest actor. i am hoping i'll have it done late summer or fall.
Red shirt girls are good. Them girls based on someone, special?

I agree with your rant too, i've shown stuff to my family before that they didn't get/understand but cartoon people liked a lot.

My god! You are pretty much the best cartoon designer in my eyes! I love these! So much appeal. Love those horses the most, but they all look pretty great! Gotta love contrasting shapes! You should totally make a show on tv, online, or anywhere! Everyone would see it and it'd be infinity times better than Family Douche!
So which character is is going to be about? Is it the bear you posted a while back.
